Body Wrap


A popular spa treatment at many salons and spas. Products are applied to the skin to make a body mask. Client is snuggly wrapped to keep them warm and maintain the heat within the 'wrap'. The warmth created helps the muscles to relax. Treatments will tone and soften the skin, promotes detoxification,  improves excess inches and water retention, non-medical swelling (oedema), cellulite and lymphatic & blood circulation. 

Some benefits are noticed right away and will offer you repeat business. Commercially this treatment is an excellent addition to any therapist's skills. Other treatments can be performed while the client relaxes in the wrap. i.e. lash & brow treatments, facials or scalp massage. 

A variety of products can be used for treatments such as, algae, seaweed, mud, clay, gel or oils.  There are countless body wraps and some of the variants include, detox, cellulite, chocolate, hydrating, paraffin, parafango or frigi thalo wrap. The techniques taught on this course will provide you with the skills to offer a wide range of different types of body wrap treatments.
